The article presents selected results which are the part of research activities of the Internal Grant Agency of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, Mendel University in Brno no. LDF_VT_2015010 solved by the Department of Forest and Wood ProductsEconomics and Policy and the Department of Landscape Management in 2015. The aim of this part of the research was the evaluation of the area's recreational utilisation. Forest Districts of the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny were chosenas the interest area for evaluating the recreational utilization. The recreational function was evaluated from the perspective of the use of the territory by the visitors. This function is mostly fulfilled by forest roads and cycle paths. The survey ofthe visitors of the TFE Křtiny territory focused, among others, on determining the number of people using the forest roads and cycle trails and their characteristics.
