We try to give a popular-scientific presentation of the issue of making the trails in the outdoors wheelchair accessible in the V4 Countries in these book. Designing in nature is different from the conditions how the architectural objects and free spacesinside the built-up areas in towns and villages are made barrier free. The important pre-requisite for designing for outdoor physical activities is to learn more about the needs and demands of wheelchair users and the disabled in general. This publication is the first complete work of this kind by authors from the V4 countries who deal with this issue on a professional level.
