Analysis of the Nuclear Program in Iran and its Impact on the Security Situation in the Region
Original language description
The aim of the article is considering possible risks arising within international relations from a potential Iranian possession of nuclear weapons. The main targets are to find out whether the present and future of Iran's nuclear capabilities allow technologically active nuclear deterrence, whether Iran's domestic and foreign policy is ready andable to use the nuclear arsenal as a tool to influence its relations with the outside world and whether the motives for the nuclear option and current relationships and links to other states are sufficient stimulus for the finalization of Iranian effortsto become a nuclear state.
