Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Krtiny (TFE) is an organizational part of Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno and a special-purpose facility of its Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology. A pilot project was launched in 2018 in locations Utechov and Kanice of the Mendel University Forest Enterprise. It is focused on monitoring of the connection between selected weather parameters and the forest species structure. The article shows some results from measurement of soil moisture by electrical impedance spectrometry method in the different type forest stands. Results shows that better infiltration of rainfall occurs in the forest with deciduous trees dominance.
