    This study explores the integration of phase change materials (PCMs) in combination with photovoltaics (PV) into Trombe wall (TW) systems to enhance solar-thermal performance in building envelopes. While current applications utilize traditional materials like concrete, they fail to meet modern heat loss standards. The research employs building performance simulations to assess the thermal energy storage capabilities of PCM-enhanced TW compared to conventional systems. Results indicate that PCMs significantly reduce peak heating and cooling loads, demonstrating improved thermal efficiency across various climates. This work contributes to sustainable construction practices by proposing a viable alternative to traditional thermal energy storage, potentially transforming energy management in buildings.
