Manifestation of "terroir" in the wines from moravian winegrowing regions

Original language description

"Terroir" is used not only in viticulture and viniculture, but it is also an important tool in wine trade. "Terroir" influence rather wine character then its quality. However good "terroir" can favourably influence grape quality. "Terroir" identificationin the wine has big importance especially from the point of wine trade view. New winemaking statute in Czech Republic involve so called "wines of original certification". Just in case of these wine types are many occasions to employ diversity of wine growing regions and "teroir". Czech Republic belongs to small wine growing countries regarding the area, total wine grape area is just one wine growing area in another country. Therefore we are about to establish ideas of VOC in our viticulture and wine industry. These reasons point to the idea to focus VOC wines production just to arefully choiced microregions.

Czech description

"Terroir" není využívané pouze ve vinohradnictví a vinařství, ale také důležitý nástroj v obchodu s vínem. "Terroir" ovlivňuje spíše chrakter vína a potom jeho kvalitu. Dobré "terroir" má příznivý vliv na kvalitu hroznů. Identifikace "terroir" ve víně mávelkou důležitost zejména v pohledu obchdu s vínem. Nový vinařský zákon v České republice zavádí kategorii "Víno originální certifikace". Česká republika patří mezi malé vinařské země podle plochy. VOC vína je proto vhodné zavádět na úrovni mikroregionu.
