Health conditions of plants material is one of limiting factors in growing apricots and peach trees in Czech Republic and Europe. In terms of certification scheme EPPO was verify the optimal way for phytoplasma ESFY (European stem fruit yellows phytoplasma) detection namely in type of plant tissue and their term taking. Results of PCR detection was compare with visual symptoms phytoplasma. At the same time was seeking among 26 cultivars of stone fruits the best woody indicators for fast diagnostic detection phytoplasma ESFY. From tested indicators were observed strongest visual symptoms in the cultivar Tomcot, Leskora, LE- 2927 and Bergeron, weak appearances was find at genotypes Velkopavlovicka, Veecot and M- LE- 1. Detection ESFY carried out from DNAisolation from phloem was higher than detection from DNA isolation from leave-stalk.
