Plant Species of the City Park in Olomouc in 19th Century
Original language description
The paper brings results of the research of the plant species that could be found in the City Park of Olomouc(Stadtpark, today the Smetana Park), Czech Republic. The main sources were archive materials, both of text and graphical nature. The original plant names listed here were examined and subsequently defined in contemporary names as precise as possible, on the level of the genus, species, cultivar or variety. The results are summed up in text, and plant lists are in tables referring to trees, shrubs, conservatory plants and flowers. Plants are presented in a simple list or if possible in attachment to their placement within the space design of the park.
