Influence of Geological and Soil Condition on Qualitative Parameters of Wines
Original language description
This article describes the partial result of the first two years of the dissertation thesis experiments focused on the influence of geological and pedological conditions on analytical parameters of wines, mainly related to tracing wine origin. This workuses varied conditions of vineyard Velká Vendule in the wine village Velké Žernoseky in the Czech Republic. Isotope ratios (D/H)I, (D/H)II, 13C/12C and 18O/16O were measured using NMR. EA-IRMS and content of B, Cu, Fe, Mg, Na, Zn, P, K and Ca using ICP.Canonical discriminant analysis was used for the statistical evaluation of 16 wine samples. The results show that it is possible to distinguish the grapes used for making these wines, so it seems there is the influence of geological and pedological conditions on measured wine parameters. However, the results must be verified in following vintages.
