The present work is designed to serve as an in depth and comprehensive compendium of the Biomedical Sciences. Its individual articles are rigorously curated and will be continually updated to ensure that this work reflects the current state of these rapidly moving fields. The work will endeavor to reveal the interconnectedness of the subdisciplines that constitute the Biomedical Sciences as well as the synergies that can be achieved by applying their distinct approaches.
