Original language description
Five cultivars of early and late safflower varieties were sequentially sown in April, May and June terms outside and to a cold greenhouse in November. Chosen varieties were sown in February to a cold greenhouse and to a warm one as well. Five cultivars were before elongation and before a beginning of ramification repeatedly treated by gibberellins, chlormequate or paclobutrazol. Number of days till flowering decreased with delaying sowings and with increasing values of thermal and luminous irradiation,especially great differences were reported between plants from spring sowing and winter ones. Data about an amount of desired light stay in similar decrease more continual. But plants do not react in flowering in positive way to an application of gibberellins and on the contrary paclobutrazol treatment makes flowering earlier.
