Original language description
The contribution is focused on the analysis of the consumer preferences, demonstrating the purchases of meat and meat products in different household categories. From the categories, the preference analysis studied the households of employees, farmers self-employees and pensioners. The household?s preference research was realised by indirect approach, concretely by means of the basic characteristic of individual demands. These characteristics were computed from the demand Engels? models, which the author has developed and verified statically. Studied preference structures were assessed (evaluated) on the base of marginal and average propensity to buy, and income elasticity coefficients.
