An unusual Penicillium on rockwool in glasshouse
Original language description
Species of the genus Penicilium are ubiquistous saprotrophs, spreading easily by conidia throughn the atmosphere. They appear most frequently in soil and on various organic matter. Penicillium olsonii had been found on seed of various plants in the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia. In our case, this fungus was found on the strip of rockwool in the glasshouses of Horticultural Faculty in Lednice in 2000 and 2001.
