Using of each type of forest-machine also of agricultural tractors give out some negative effects on the forest ecosystem. These negative effects must be reduced. It was some research of these factors performed. Some experimental observations. The statistical analyse discovered that the damage of soil and trees was not hard dependent on intensity of forest harvesting. The weight of the professional tractor is higher as of the farm tractor. This gives out negative effects on the soil and trees.The soil is compressed by the tractor with tyres of type Trelleborg Twin 421 so as by the tractor with standard tyres, but this compression was about 50% smaller. The compression was maximum to 1% CBR in both case. The maximum depth of track of tyres Trelleborg Twin 421 was about 15 cm and the maximum depth of track of standard tyres was 20 cm. It means, that it is very important for the reduction of the soil damage.
