Forest soils as a source of CO2
Original language description
Our objectives were to provide a reliable estimate of soil CO2, to investigate the effects of seasonal changes in soil temperature on the rate of soil CO2 efflux. and to predict the daily and seasonal dynamic of the soil respiration. We used field methodaccording to Monteith, Szeicz and Yabuki (1964) modified by Tesařová and Gloser (1976) and Grunda (1980) for measurement of soil CO2 efflux. The measurement was carried out in the most extended forest type in the CR, viz. in a Norway spruce monocultureof various age and various stand density.
