Soil information system for South Moravian alluvial plains as key to sustainable land management - a user´s perspective
Original language description
The proposed SIS is hoped to give access to prepared information to planner and a wide range of scientific and non-scientific users, leaving no scope of misinterpretation of soil related data. It can be done by describing and providing soil information in a context that assures that it is used where it?s applicability and significance have been established. The need for the comparison of information at national and continental scale necessitates data harmonization. Before a direct approach to this problem can be made, it is desirable to review already existing information and analyse its compatibility and availability.
