On the basis of hoverflies (Diptera,Syrphidae) collected using Moericke´s dishes in spruce and birch stands of the Děčínská Sandstone Upland (northern Bohemia) during 1990-1999, the seasonal dynamics and flying activity were determined in 30 most important representatives (Episyrphus balteatus, Euopedes corollae, Melanostoma scalare, Syrphus torvus, S. ribesii, S. vitripennis, Parasyrphus annulatus etc.)
