The quanlitative GC data on a subject data base, comprising 48 samples of 12 varietis, were processed by statistical discriminant analysis. For purpose of multivariate statistical evaluation of instrumental results, the direct SFE of wines appears to besuperion to the combination of solid-phase extraction and SFE.
