Genetic relationships within Czech National collection in peaches
Original language description
The Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) technique was used to study of genetic diversity and relationships within the collection of the Czech National Plant Genetic Resources (PGR) of peaches (Prunus persica L.) The aim of the work was to obtain characteristic electroforetic records of observed 60 peach cultivars. During the basic screening 46 primers (40 primers of Operon - serie E , M and 6 synthesised primers) were applied to 6 cultivars mutually different in morphological and in the other characteristics. Among the group of screened primers were chosen ones, which gave polymorphic repeatable strong and middle strong bands and these were subsequently used for the RAPD reaction within the all peach collection. The group of selected RAPD primers distinguished peach cultivars.
