Established as a part of gram project at the Brno-based Mendel university of Agriculture and Forestry (MZLU - Mendelova Zemědělská a Lesnická univerzita) !n 2001, the precision farming laboratory enables students to familiarise themselves with precisionfarming in a comprehensive manner. This paper summarises the inřtial experience associated with fhe collection and interpretation of řnput data (aerial images, yield maps) and with theoretical and practical chances of application.
