Since 1988, the limit values of phytotoxic effects of residues of risk herbicides in soil oh sugar beet vere tested using biological methods. The obtained limit values of contrentracion of herbicide residues in soil shoul be used as a practical guide deciding about the selection of the subsequent crop on plots with expected residues residues of herbicides applied to foregoing crops or whwn defining symtoms of the damage for individual plants.
