Original language description

In october 1999, the concentrations of Hg, Cd, Pb, Cr, Cu, Zn and Ni were monitored in three localities of the Jihlava River. The river water, sediments of the riverbed, zoobenthos samples and body tissues of the fish (gills, gonads, skin, dorsal muscleswere analysed. The chub was used as the ichthyo-indicator. Stability of the fish community was evaluated using electrofishing and applying basic ichthyologic methods.
