    Influence of sub-macroscopic structure of wood in lumber drying process

  • Original language description

    The existence of effects of sub-macroscopic structure was proved by growth rings formation algorithm and distinction of wood types. Drying process was sensitive according to appropriate drying schedule as usual, but distinct relationship between shapes of growth rings (which changed rapidly due to fibre slope, position in stem and ratio of late/early wood) was found. A new method of failure identification and significance of failed material according to the whole wood structure was derived and outlined.New method about quality evaluation of drying process of wood was drafted.
