Comparison of different sampling methods for evaluation of biodiversity of bugs (Heteroptera) in a birch forest.
Original language description
The effectivity of sampling methods was assessed using the rarefaction method revealing a high heteropteran species richness obtained by yellow dishes as compared with abundant samples from shaking down and photoeclectors. Biodiversity measures depends on the sampling method, the lowest were in the samples collected by shaking down, while the highest species diversity was recorded in the sample from yellow dishes. For a complex species richness and heterogeneity determination, even non-specialized methods for heteropterans sampling should be used.
