Cambioxylophagous fauna of Norway spruce stands with a basic population of bark beetles (Ips typographus).
Original language description
The composition of the cambioxylophagous fauna (32 species) in the stem profile and in the branches of spruce crowns (Picea abies Karst. [L.]) was investigated in 1995-2001 on standing spruce trees attacked or killed by bark beetles. The incidence of thebark beetle (Ips typographus L.) in the Beskids has been low for a long time. Studies of the species spectrum, attractiveness of the spruce tree and intensity of infestation by the cambioxylophagous pests were based on: stand conditions, site and stressfactors.
