Original language description

The main purpose of the first version of the computer system PERUN, which has been developed in 2001-2002, is the probabilistic seasonal crop yield forecasting for a given site. The system is based on the crop growth model WOFOST (version 7, slightly modified) and the six-variate version of the stochastic weather generator Met&Roll. The system is now now being enhanced to allow assessment of the crop yield potential of a larger area in present and changed climate conditions.
