Comparison of cutting lubricants used for the grinding process

  • Original language description

Grinding is among metalworking technologies used both for the production and renovation and repair of machines parts. In the grinding process, the quality of machined surface is significantly influenced by cuttiong lubricants. In this work the effects oflubricants Bitol 1 andParasol SK 200on the workpiece finish surface are compared. Steel specimens (class 11 373) were tested for roughness (Ra, Rq and Rm), microhardness and anticorrosion resistance. For statistical evaluation a software Maple V - 3 used.
