Original language description

For identification of individuals and parentage control performed by pig breeders in the Czech Republic a novel porcine microsatellites panel amplified by means of multiplex polymerase chin reaction was designed. Efficiency of our set of ten microsatellites (panel A - SW24, S0386, S0355, SW353, SW936, SW72, S0068, S0070, S0107 and TNFB) was compared in three breeds with efficiency of that (panel B - S0005, S0090, S0101, S0155, S0355, S0386, SW24, SW240, SW857 and SW951) described by Nechtelberger et al.(2001). Research data certified the possibility of using this panel A in the individual identification and parentage verification in the Czech Republic.
