Studies on Asiatic Apophylia (Insecta: Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae). Part 2: Revision of the aeruginosa and lebongana species groups
Original language description
The Apophylia aeruginosa and A. lebongana species groups are defined and revised. Two species new to science are described: Apophylia hajeki n.sp. from Bhutan and Nepal, and A. micheli n.sp. from Nepal and India. Apophylia maculata Kimoto is considered to be a new synonym of A. lebongana Maulik. Lectotypes are designated for A. nilakrishna maulik and A. lebongana Maulik. Main diagnostic characters are described and illustrated together with drawings of the male genitalia of all species. A key to the species of Apophylia with male abdominal teeth is also included.
