Forests of Devin, Czech Republic, are under protection and unmanaged since 1946. 50 years old records were repeated using original methodology in 2002-2003. Main processes in vegetation are: Canopy is closer, undergrowth is species poorer, light-demanding species disappeared, nitrophilous species increased. In soils, illimerisation is the main process.
