  • Original language description

    Development of en accurate mathematical model of sufficient generality to evaluate drying processes in material having diverse moisture transport properties is proposed. The proces of wood drzing is interpreted as simultaneous heat and moisture transferwith local thermodynamic equilibrium at each point within the timber. The model is a mathematical one treating wood as continuous and homogeneous medium on trying to explain the several mechanism of moisture transport actualy taking place in the internalstructure of wood.
