The model of fracture surface of wood on microscopic scale level
Original language description
The work includes techniques of superelement formation for description of cracks spreading and classification of parameters of fractal geometry of crack path on micro scale of spruce wood. For superelement formation the probabilistic finite element models of wood structure were used. Model consists of layered structure of cell wall and classifies the crack surface in notched specimen for bending loading. The different structure of late wood, early wood and transition zone were included on all modelled scales. Resulted crack surface is usable for validation by characteristics of fractal geometry and it is the first way of simulation which is able to simulate fiber character of crack surface.
