Original language description
Dairy cows with COD (n=61) were divided into 4 groups treated by ultrasound guided aspiration (1), norgestomet (2), aspiration and norgestomet (3) and GnRH (4). The best results (the highest number of cows inseminated and pregnant within 21 days after treatment) were obtained in Group 2 and 3, however differences were not significant. Follicular aspiration did not have a positive effect on the norgestomet treatment.These results suggest, that the use of norgestomet in combination with prostaglandin andGnRH is an acceptable method for treatment of COD in dairy cows.
