Analgesia in dentistry patient is and essential step for general animal support and healing. There are many of different protocols that can be used to manage pain and practitioners must decide which type of analgesia is suitable to manage pain relief optimally. In herbivorous small mammals, unrelieved dental pain can be major factor of the anorexia. Futher weight loss and negative energetic balance with ketosis can be the results of anorexia.

Analgézie u zubařských pacientů je nezbytným krokem pro celkovou podporu zvířete a hojení. Je mnoho různých protokolů, které mohou být použity ke snížení bolesti, a praktik musí rozhodnout, který typ analgesie je vhodný pro management bolesti u konkrétního pacienta. U herbivorních malých savců, neřešená zubní bolest může být hlavním faktorem anorexie. Další ztráta hmotnosti a negativní energetická bilance s ketózou mohou být následky anorexie.
