A practical approach to anaesthesia and analgesia in reptiles
Original language description
In the modern reptilian medicine, the need for improved quality of anaesthesia and analgesia is evident. Safe anaesthesia of long duration is still important, despite the dynamic develoment of minimal invasive surgery techniques. The anaesthetic management fo different groups of reptiles is associated with many challanges. Diferent feasible regimes of anesthesia and analgesia are used in clinical practice with reptiles at two specialised clinics (Brno, Vienna).
