Original language description
An eleven day old Warm-blood filly was admitted with a history of dystocia. It had been bottle fed with milk replacer. During the first week of life it developed apathy, diarrhoea, weakness and dyspnoea. On the basis of diagnostic results obtained the diagnosis of aspiration pneumonia complicated with neurohepatopathy was established.The treatment applied had been successful and the long term follow up has shown a good general status in the filly.
