These methods are used for trapping of large larvae and adult nematodes. It is highly important method regardless the paramount importance of morphology of adult worms for correct identification and description of helminth species. During this step, thesamples is straight through the gauze, where small nematodes are effectively trapped by fibers and later recovered by washing the gauze through the set of strainers.
