Original language description

A case of adult green iguana with adenocarcinoma of the adrenal gland and metastases to the liver is presented. On the base of territorial behaviour, the orchiectomy was performed at the request of the owner. After about 19 months, the patient experienced a progressive worsening apathy with rattling and anorexia. Pursuant to clinical examination and selected paraclinical methods, probatory coeliotomy was performed, where the mass adhering to the right liver lobe and pleuroperitoneum has been removed. Histopathological examination revealed adenocarcinoma of adrenal gland with hepatic metastases.
