Original language description
Several species of anoplocephalid tapeworms are described in primates, most of them referred to as Bertiella studeri. In mountain gorillas was found Anoplocephala gorillae and Bertiella satyri in orangutans. Recent molecular work suggests higher diversity and host specificity remains unknown.
