Presented review deals with possibilities and advantages of using computed tomography (CT), including contrast CT in turtles. Anatomy and pathology are briefly mentioned in individual organ systems as well as possibilities of CT examination using. While the use of CT without a contrast substance is a technically simple method, the use of contrast computed tomography is limited to a certain extent by the form of application of contrast substance into blood circulation of examined patient.
