Original language description
The length of reproduction season, intensity of reproduction, and litter size of the female population component of the South Moravian common vole populations collected during two time spans were compared. The changes are reflected in the frequency of years which have a high level of population density of the common vole. Using a four degree scale (according to the number of re-opened holes on 0.01 hectares plots) an increasing tendency in spring and autumn "population density" values have been found.
