The evaluation of the stable climate influence on farm animals

  • Original language description

The objective of presented work was evaluation microclimatic factors (air temperature, humidity and movement, carbon dioxide concentration, microbiological contamination and ventilation) during all macroclimatic conditions. We proved the high degree of correlation between the deviation of the indoor climate outside the range of optimal values, and the lowered body mass increase during the fattening period. The decrease in body mass growth was joint with higher mortality rate and higher number of emergency slaughtering in the herds. Especially the period of sudden changes in the outdoor climate, heavily influenced the ventilation of stables, and provoked remarrkable worsening of the health status in the housed pigs.
