    The occurrence of enterococci in waste waters and their resistance to antibiotics was investigated. 95% of enterococci was resistant to more than one antibiotic tested, especially to clindamycin, penicillin, cephalotin, ofloxacin and tetracycline. No vancomycin-resistant strain was found.

    Byl sledován výskyt enterokoků v odpadních vodách a jejich rezistence k antimikrobiálním látkám. 95 % enterokoků bylo rezistentních k více než jednomu antibiotiku, nejčastěji ke klindymycinu, penicilinu, cefalotinu, ofloxacinu a tetracyklinu. Nebyl nalezen vankomycin-rezistentní izolát.
