Original language description
A total of 75 birds of 16 species were infested with subadult ticks of Ixodes ricinus species in Bukovské Vrchy Hills in the northeastern part of Slovakia. The infections of ticks with Borrelia spp., Rickettsia spp. and Ehrlichia spp. were detected usingDNA analyses.

Celkem 75 ptáků 16 druhů bylo infestováno nedospělými klíšťaty druhu Ixodes ricinus v Bukovských vrších na severovýchodním Slovensku. U klíšťat byla DNA analýzou prokázána infekce Borrelia spp., Rickettsia spp. a Ehrlichia spp.
