The aim of the present study was to investigate concentration of total mercury and methylmercury in muscle of the 55 chub from seven main tributaries of the Elbe River and to evaluate health risks of eating fish from the tributaries monitored.

Czech description
Cílem předkládané práce bylo monitorovat kontaminaci sedmi hlavních přítoků řeky Labe rtutí a methylrtutí, zhodnotit přínos kontaminace rtutí jednotlivými přítoky do toku řeky Labe a posoudit riziko konzumace ryb ve sledovaných přítocích.
