Study of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon contamination of major rivers in the Czech Republic using biliary metabolite in chub, Leuciscus cephalus L.

  • Original language description

The aim of our study was to evaluate PAH contamination of the major rivers in the Czech Republic using 1-hydroxypyrene in chub bile as a biomarker. Statistically significant positive correlations between biliary 1-OHP and PAH in sediment were found.
