Original language description
Effects of terbuthylazine on common carp (Cyprinus carpio) were observed after 24h exposure to the high pesticide concentration and after recovery period of 6 days. In this study, a commercial herbicide formulation Click 500 SC (terbuthylazine 500 g/l) was used, the test concentration of terbuthylazine was 3.3 mg/l. Biomarkers of oxidative stress such as glutathione (GSH), glutathione-S-transferase (GST), glutathioneperoxidase (GPx), glutathione reductase (GR), catalase (CAT), amount of malonyldialdehyde (MDA) and ceruloplasmin activity were determined in liver of carp.
