The aim of the study was to determine the content of minor mycotoxin beauvericin in dairy feedstuffs and to calculate the total dietary intake of beauvericin under on-farm conditions. The experiment was carried out on 10 lactating Czech Fleckvieh x Holstein cows and lasted 14 d (11-d preliminary and 3-d collecting period). Cows were fed individually twice daily the diet based on maize silage, lucerne haylage, meadow hay and a supplemental mixture. Samples of feedstuffs were taken during the collecting period and were analysed on the basic nutrients and beauvericin. Milk yield and composition was recorded. All samples of feed were positive, the highest concentration of beauvericin was found in maize silage (432.1 ?g/kg), beauvericin occurrence in supplemental mixture was low, 22.8 ?g/kg. The total daily intake of beauvericin was 3372.9 ?g/d that means daily exposure of 5.6 ?g/kg body weight.
