Original language description
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the presence of insects in the stables on behaviour, performance and incidence of mastitis in dairy cows during the summer period. The observation was carried out during 14 days at the turn of July and August. Glue traps were installed on the farm to determine the number of insects. Behaviour, performance and incidence of mastitis in dairy cows were observed in connection with insects´ presence.
