  • Original language description

    High resolution gas capillary chromatography was used to determine concentrations of indicator PCB congeners and PAH in samples of water, sediments, sludge and plant mass collected in flooded areas of Central Moravia, Czech R Elution of PCBs from the recultivated and illegal dumps was demonstrated. The eluted chemicals became sources of secondary contamination of the food chain. The extremely high concentration of PCB found at the identical sampli were even eyceeded after the flood in 1997 and 1998.
